Tosio ARIMOTO Weaving stories

Sep 16, 2017-Dec 10, 2017

Tosio ARIMOTO(1946-1985), who passed away aged 38 just four year after winning the Yasui Prize, was inspired by images from the East and West and created scenes transcending time and space. His poetic tranquil world evokes stories in viewers’ mind.

This exhibition is an opportunity to show his work in the Kansai area after an interval of 10 years. About 50 works including paintings and sculptures are being exhibited to show the artist’s creative variety.

* Exhibits will be replaced to show more of his work during the exhibition
